LASER

SKIN INJURIES

It is used to treat acne sequelae, wrinkles, \"signs\", lentigines, actinic keratoses, telangiectasias, scars, pigmentary changes and colloids, among others. It can be done on the body, in specific lesions, but it is above all useful on the face, in the so-called resurfacing (wrinkle treatment). The procedure is relatively well tolerated and fast and is performed in the office. The larger the area to be treated and the more severe the problem, the longer it will take for the skin to fully recover, but it will not exceed 3 to 5 days.

The most advanced LASER technology

The Intense Pulsed Light technology represents a technological advance in existing treatments for the correction of a variety of benign skin conditions, such as imperfections, signs of aging, hemangiomas and port-wine stains, small blood vessels and benign lesions caused by the sun. Intense Pulsed Light offers a safe and non-invasive solution that can be programmed according to your skin type, obtaining excellent aesthetic results and a high degree of satisfaction. This new procedure is called LASER, that is, skin rejuvenation through light. .

LASER treats and improves

The Intense Pulsed Light acts on several skin levels, both deep and superficial. Its treatment includes the significant reduction of stains such as melanosis, freckles and pigmentation of the most diverse types, most of which are due to sun exposure, and small vessels of the face, it can reach extensive vascularized areas (reddish spots), or more often vessels in the nose region. In addition to the face, neck, chest and hands can be treated very effectively, stimulating the formation of collagen and elastic fibers, softening wrinkles, scars of acne and other marks. We can thus observe a progressive skin rejuvenation of all regions where Intense Pulsed Light is applied. such as Peelings, Mesolift, Biostimulation, Bioplasty to improve skin texture. The procedure

After a careful evaluation of the skin type and the lesion to be treated, treatment can be carried out. The use of protective goggles must be strictly followed by the patient to protect the eyes from the emitted light. The application is carried out by a specialist after the use of cold gel, and the crystal surface of the device is already frozen to protect against heating and possible skin burn. The crystal is gently applied to the skin and luminous pulses are emitted. With each pulse of light fired, you may feel a slight burning sensation (similar to a rubber band stretched and loose on the skin). An anesthetic cream can be used, but it is rarely necessary. The treatment is usually given in a series of sessions, spaced every 3 or 4 weeks, obtaining excellent results, with minimal adverse effects and great satisfaction. Each session lasts approximately twenty minutes, depending on the extent of the area to be applied.

Depending on the treatment and the intensity of the problem, a series of five or six sessions may be recommended. You can return to your normal activities on the same day of treatment. By dividing the treatment into several sessions, a gradual improvement is obtained, preserving the possibility of not interrupt your normal activities.

Associated with medical cosmetics and treatment between sessions, an improvement in skin texture, blemishes and wrinkles can be obtained, with the result of the treatments being superior.
